ChatGPT → RepBro
Your ChatGPT workout plan, turned into a real training app
ChatGPT writes decent programs. It just can't train you: no logging, no rest timers, no progress charts, no one checking you showed up. Paste its plan into RepBro and the text becomes a program you actually run.
1 · Ask for a plan (any AI works)
Use your own prompt, or copy this one — the format line at the end makes the import cleanest:
Create a workout plan for me. - Goal: [build muscle / lose fat / get stronger] - Experience: [beginner / intermediate / advanced] - Days per week: [3] - Equipment: [full gym / dumbbells only / bodyweight] Format it as: one heading per training day (e.g. "Day 1: Push"), then one exercise per line as "Exercise Name — 3x8-12, rest 90s".
2 · Paste it into RepBro
- Open RepBro → Plan tab → ✏️ → Import from ChatGPT.
- Paste the whole answer — headings, bullets, notes, everything. RepBro finds the training days and exercises and skips the prose.
- Review the imported plan: reorder days, fix anything it read differently, tap any exercise to adjust sets, reps and rest.
- Save. It's now your active plan — rest timers, logging, streaks, awards, and a coach that answers questions about it.
What survives the import
- Training days and their order, with your day names
- Exercises matched to RepBro's library (with form videos)
- Sets, rep ranges, and rest times when the plan specifies them — sensible defaults when it doesn't
- Anything that doesn't match gets listed — never silently dropped — so you can add it by hand
